The fifth-generation RX Hybrid SUV was launched by Lexus at the 2023 Auto Expo earlier this year, but it was not made available in India at that time. It has since been launched. It comes in two models: the RX 350h Luxury and the RX 500h F-Sport+. Priced at Rs 95.80 lakh for the RX 350h Luxury and Rs 1.18 crore for the RX 500h F-Sport+, respectively. Both amounts are ex-showroom prices.
In the Indian market, the new Lexus RX will
be offered as a completely built unit (CBU). It will have two engine choices. A 2.5-liter in-line NA engine paired with an electric motor will power the entry-level RX 350h. It will have a combined output of 248bhp and 242Nm. It can speed from 0 to 100 kph in 7.9 seconds, according to Lexus. 200 kmph is its top speed. A CVT automatic transmission is available for the RX 350h.
The RX 500h F-Sport+, which is more potent
receives a 2.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a hybrid electric drivetrain with a combined output of 366 horsepower and 460 torque. The 6-speed automated gearbox that the RX 500h is equipped with. It takes 6.2 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km per hour. An all-wheel-drive system is standard on the RX.
It has a sweeping roofline that highlights the RX’s sporty
coupe-like appearance. The wheels are 21-inch alloys. The new-generation Lexus RX has measurements of 4,890mm overall length, 1,920mm width, and 1,695mm height. The hybrid SUV’s wheelbase has been lengthened by 60 mm by Lexus. As a result, it has grown to 2,850 mm. Competitors in SUV include the Audi Q7, BMW X5, and Mercedes GLE in the market.
