Force Gurkha 5-Door, new ‘enemy’ of the Mahindra Thar & Jimny, to launch soon

Force

The 5-door Gurkha may soon be available in India thanks to Force Motors. The teaser has now been issued by the corporation. Within the following few months, it could be released. The Maruti Jimny and the Mahindra Thar Armada (5-door) will be competitors of the 5-door Force Gurkha. Additionally, the Gurkha 5-door has been repeatedly observed testing on Indian roads.

Testing models have shown that the 5-door

variant will differ little from the regular 3-door model in terms of appearance. This will have square headlamps with a new design offered in place of round headlamps. The 3-door model’s dual-slat front grille will not change. Additionally, the front and rear bumpers have undergone some modifications. Instead of the 16-inch wheels found on the normal model, it might come with brand-new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It is anticipated that the Force Gurkha 5-door will have a wheelbase of 2,825mm, 425mm longer than the 3-door model. Although some new amenities will be included, it is anticipated that the inside design of the car will mostly stay the same as the initial generation.

This can have a 4WD

shift-on-the-fly knob located on the center console next to the driver’s seat. In contrast, the 3-door Gurkha has separate lock levers located behind the gear lever for the front and rear differentials. There are various seating configurations available for the 5-door Gurkha. Options for five seats (two rows), six seats (three rows), and seven seats (three rows) are available in this. Within the seven-seater version, bench seats can be found in the second row while two separate captain seats can be found in the last row. However, the Gurkha 5-door is also expected to get the same 2.6L diesel engine as the 3-door.

This engine

is already present in the Gurkha 3-door with a 5-speed manual gearbox; it comes from Mercedes-Benz. This engine produces 250 Nm and 91 horsepower. On the other hand, the engine can be adjusted to produce more torque and power.
