You’ve probably heard a lot about automobiles with five, six, seven, and eight seats, but you might not be aware that India also has cars with thirteen seats.
Yes, a 13-seater automobile is available. However, it is a Force Motors vehicle, not a Tata or Mahindra vehicle. Force Motors’ Force Trax Cruiser has been released in two seating configurations: a 10-seater (9+D) and a 13-seater (12+D) option.
In comparison to the 13-seater form, the 10-seater variant can accommodate 12 people and a driver.
Seat configuration
The 13-seater variant has a driver’s seat and a passenger seat up front. The second row has three passengers (bench seat) seats. At the back, there are two bench seats that face one another and can accommodate four people. In other words, there are eight seats in total in the back. This makes room for a total of 13 persons to sit down.
On the other side, the 10-seat layout has two passenger seats and a driver in the front. In the second row, there are three passengers (bench seat) seats, and there are two 4-seater front-to-back benches in the back. Ten people can fit in this configuration.
Motor and Cost
The 2596CC, BS-VI, 4-cylinder, Common Rail DI TCIC engine that powers the Force Trax cruiser produces 67kW at 3200 rpm and 250 Nm at 1400–2400 rpm in terms of power and torque outputs. A five-speed manual transmission is provided for it.
Its cost ranges from approximately Rs. 16.08 lakhs to Rs. 18.00 lakhs (on-road, Delhi). Although there are many more feature-rich automobiles in this price bracket on the market, they do not have the same seating capacity, so it is not highly feature-loaded.
