The Honda Transalp has been one of the most talked-about middle-weight adventure motorcycles in recent months. In 2022, it made its premiere at EICMA. The Honda XL750 Transalp is now available in India for Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), according to the firm. This is more expensive than the Hyundai Creta base model, which retails for Rs 10.87 lakh (ex-showroom). There will only be 100 XL750 Transalp units sold at this time.
Honda XL750 Transalp Hardware and Features
The Honda XL750 Transalp has two wheels: an 18-inch rear wheel and a 21-inch front. The front has a 43 mm Showa USD suspension. Because of this, the motorbike is excellent for both long rides and daily use. The motorcycle has dual-channel ABS and disc brakes on both ends.
Information such as the speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge and consumption, riding mode, and engine specifications are displayed on its 5-inch TFT dashboard. The rider can alter this display to suit their preferences. The switchgear on the left handlebar or the screen can be used to control it.
Drivetrain
The motorcycle’s 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine features a crankshaft rotation of 270 degrees. This engine produces 75 Nm and 90 horsepower. Its gearbox has six speeds. Ni-SiC (nickel-silicon carbide) coating is applied to the cylinders to improve engine efficiency; this is demonstrated in the CRF450R and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.
In riding mode
There are five riding modes on the bike: Standard, Rain, Gravel, Sport, and User. You can choose your preferred setup for engine power, brakes, ABS, assist slipper clutch, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) from these options.
