Team India lost by 28 runs in their opening Test match against England in Hyderabad. In the current five-match Test series, the England side is leading 1-0. Following their loss in the opening test match, Team India has taken yet another serious hit. The premier all-around player for the Indian team, Ravindra Jadeja, is unlikely to feature in the second test match against England. India and England’s second test match is scheduled to take place in Visakhapatnam from February 2–6.

Team India

Team India was taken aback.

In addition to being the “turning point” in the opening Test match, England captain Ben Stokes’s direct hit to dismiss Ravindra Jadeja may determine the course of the series, as India’s No. 1 all-rounder across all formats, Ravindra Jadeja, is showing great muscle. I am struggling with strain. It is doubtful for Ravindra Jadeja to play in the second test match against England.

Team IndiaJadeja may perform poorly on the second test.

Taking five wickets in the combined second and first innings, Ravindra Jadeja was India’s highest scorer with 87 runs in the first innings. After attempting a brief run, Ravindra Jadeja was observed stroking his leg muscles with his hand, suggesting that his muscles were strained. Rahul Dravid, the head coach, did not say anything about it when he did not appear to be at ease. In the post-match press conference, Rahul Dravid stated, “We shall see.” I have yet to speak with the physiotherapist. I’ll visit him again to find out what transpired.

India’s humiliating loss by 28 runs

Following a valiant century by Ollie Pope (196 runs), England won five matches thanks to a remarkable display of left-arm spinner Tom Hartley’s (7 wickets for 62 runs) wizardry on Sunday’s fourth day of the first Test. England defeated India by a score of 28 runs. gained a 1-0 advantage in the series. England gave India a target of 231 runs to win, but the home side was bowled out for 202 runs in 69.2 overs in the second innings on the fourth day, thanks to Hartley’s spin.

Team India

Jadeja and Ashwin appeared ineffectual.

Since 2013, this is India’s fourth home Test defeat. Pope handled Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling with a great deal more skill than India did when chasing the goal. England amassed a large amount of runs in the second innings, and neither of India’s veteran spinners ever seemed very dangerous on the pitch. England began play earlier than the 316 runs for six wickets they scored on Saturday. With the help of Pope, they plundered 420 runs in the second innings to take a commanding lead. India will suffer a great deal from this loss because they gave up in the face of a Lancashire bowler, 25, who has only played in three international matches.
