How to Avoid Paying Penalty for Wrong Challan: Anyone can make a mistake but when you are traveling on the road by motor vehicle, the scope for mistakes should be minimal. This will happen only if you strictly follow all the traffic rules. The central government and the governments of all the states are also paying full attention to the fact that people follow the traffic rules. Strict laws have also been made for this. Violators of traffic rules are punished under the existing motor vehicle laws. There is a provisions ranging from fines to imprisonment.

Usually, people are fined for violating traffic rules. But, that does not mean that they cannot be sent to jail. There are many traffic rules, violation of which can lead to imprisonment. So everyone should follow the traffic rules. But, here comes another point just as any other person can be at fault, traffic police can also be at fault. If suppose that the traffic police has deducted your challan by mistake, then it does not mean at all that now you will have to pay the fine for that challan.

There is also a provision for this that if a traffic policeman accidentally cuts your challan and you feel that you have not violated any traffic rule, then you can contact the concerned department for this. You can complain to the top official of the traffic police department and tell them that you have not violated the traffic rule, your challan has been wrongly deducted.
