If you see this new MPV from Hyundai, you will forget the Maruti Ertiga, your heart will say – this is what you need now!

Hyundai Stargazer: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova are the first things that come to mind whenever MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) is talked about in India. Because the Innova is so expensive, if we’re talking about MPVs that cost Rs. 10 lakh or less, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will be the most in-demand vehicle. However, there is another car from the same segment, which is not currently present in India but could be brought to India soon. This car is Hyundai’s stargazer. The Hyundai Stargazer is an MPV that was recently unveiled in Indonesia and will now be publicly unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) on 11 August 2022.

The price of the model starts from IDR 243,300,000 (approx Rs 12.97 lakh) up to IDR 307,100,000 (approx Rs 16.37 lakh). If we talk about India, then it will compete directly with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. In addition, it will compete with the Kia Carens, which was introduced this year. Hyundai may bring it to make a mark in the MPV segment in India. The new Hyundai MPV in Indonesia will only be launched with the 1.5L MPI petrol engine. Its engine can give power of 115bhp. Both a 6-speed manual and an IVT (CVT) automatic gearbox are compatible with it.

A 6-seater MPV called the Stargazer has bench seats in the third row and captain seats in the middle row. It will have a very simple layout and a sporty all-black interior design. Features like gloss black elements and brushed silver accents along with the dashboard and ambient lighting add to its premium appeal. ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) is anticipated to be included to the new Hyundai Stargazer, making it safer.

It will have ADAS technologies like automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, rear cross traffic collision prevention, and blind spot monitoring. It can be equipped with a wireless charging pad, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic air conditioning, full LED lighting, Hyundai’s BlueLink linked car technology, a digital instrument cluster, and connected car technology.
