Discussions over what will be included in the next generation of Apple iPhones have begun.
The forthcoming iPhone 16 and 16 Plus
might sport 6.1 and 6.7-inch screens, if rumors are to be believed. This corresponds to the previous fifteen series. However, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max’s displays might be larger, their screen size is rumored to be 6.23 inches and 6.85 inches respectively. This year, when the iPhone 15 Series was introduced, the only model with a 5x periscope camera was the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Periscope lenses are reportedly present in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, if leaks are to be believed. A new super periscope lens, possibly with notable advances in optical zoom and focal length, is anticipated for the 16 Pro Max.

Apple unveiled the Action Button, a novel kind of capacitive button for the iPhone. The silent/vibrate switch is replaced with this button. The action button is anticipated to be a part of the iPhone 16 series in 2024.
The A18 Pro chipset, the A17 Pro
SoC’s logical successor is rumored to be included in the iPhone 16 Pro series. TSMC’s N3E manufacturing process will also serve as the foundation for this chipset. According to certain reports, the A17 Pro chipset may be forked and installed in the ordinary iPhone 16 model. It seems more likely, though, that the A18 chipset will be completely new for the basic iPhone 16 model.
The iPhone 16 Pro variants may
employ a new stacked battery technology, rumours have it. This technology allows for an improvement in the battery’s capacity and lifespan. Two or more batteries are layered on top of one another in stacked battery technology.
