Aaron Finch
Aaron Finch, a former captain of Australia, is one of the top order’s most explosive batsmen. In T20 cricket, Finch is renowned for his aggressive style and smokey batting. With 103 T20 International appearances under his belt, Finch has amassed 3120 runs with a strike rate of 142.53 and an average of 34.29. Although having only participated in 92 IPL games to date, Aaron Finch has already scored 2091 runs with a strike rate of 128.2 and an average of 24.89. Whereas Aaron Finch used to play with a strike rate of 142.53 in international T20, his strike rate in the IPL dropped to 128.2 when compared to that. IPL career for Aaron Finch is currently over.
Martin Guptill
Martin Guptill, a top-order batsman for New Zealand, is known for his aggressive style of play during T20 matches. Guptill has participated in 122 international T20 games so far, scoring 3531 runs with a strike rate of 135.7 and an average of 31.81 in those games. In 13 IPL games, Martin Guptill has played and scored 270 runs at a strike rate of 137.76 and an average of 22.5. Martin Guptill batted at an average of 31.81 in the international T20, but his average in the IPL was only 22.5. This is if we compare his IPL career to his international T20 career. The IPL career of Martin Guptill is finished as a result of his subpar play.
Tabrez Shamsi
Tabrez Shamsi, a South African chinaman bowler, is known for his exceptionally tight bowling in games of limited overs. In his 61 T20 international games to date, Tabrez has taken 74 wickets at an average of 21.53 and a 7.29 economy rate. However, Tabrez Shamsi has also participated in five IPL games, where he has taken three wickets with a 60.33 average and a 9.05 economy rate.
When we compare Tabrez Shamsi’s IPL career to his International T20 record
we can observe that while his average in International T20 is 21.53, it rises to 60.33 in the IPL. In contrast, he bowls with an economy of 9.05 in the IPL compared to 7.29 in an international 20-over competition.
