Amrit Bharat Train Features
Sleeper and second-class unreserved carriages are available on this non-airconditioned train. The train can reach 130 kmph thanks to the 6,000 horsepower WAP5 engines at either end. This train has two engines installed because it is a high-speed train with a push-pull Link Hoffman Busch (LHB) design. The train moves forward under the power of its front-mounted engine. The train moves ahead with the assistance of its rear engine. Ashwini Vaishnav mentioned that it is convenient to have two engines running on pull and turn when outlining the advantages of a push-pull system.
Amrit Bharat’s voyage without any shocks
The technology behind the Amrit Bharat train is semi-coupler-based. This technology helps to lessen the force of the shocks that are felt during the starting and stopping of the train. Amrit Bharat Express has been equipped with various facilities for the convenience of passengers.
