The largest factor is that, at 86% of total revenue, real money gambling is the primary source of income for this sector.
India’s Gaming Ecosystem

India on its way to becoming a global gaming hub
WinZO Games co-founder Pawan Nanda told PTI that the gaming business in India is expanding at a rate never seen before. He claimed that India might develop into a major hub for gaming worldwide as a result of innovation and technological improvement.
What will happen by 2034?
According to the report, this sector can reach $60 billion, or roughly Rs 5 lakh crore, by 2034 because of India’s digital economy, expanding developer ecosystem, and supportive regulatory framework. Over 20 lakh jobs could be created in the nation as a result of this expansion. This will encourage international investment and boost the export of gaming intellectual property (IP).
