A new tool that will allow users worldwide to download reels will soon be available on Instagram. Tell you what, this feature was initially introduced exclusively in America. There are currently plans to implement it globally. Instagram users will be able to download reels without the need for third-party apps thanks to this capability. However, reels are only available for download from public accounts, we assure you. Private accounts will not allow the downloading of reels. If users do not want others to download their reels, they can disable this option on public accounts.

On the broadcast channel, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri announced, “You can now download the reels of any public account.” The watermark of the account from which the reel was downloaded will be visible in the downloaded reel. Let us inform you that six months ago, this feature was introduced in America. It will now be made available to everyone.
These downloads were more common in the past
There were two ways to download reels from Instagram up till now. Using third-party apps was the first approach. The second way involved downloading the story and setting the reel to your narrative.
Reels published through private profiles will not be downloadable, according to Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri. Only public accounts will be able to use this functionality.
