Beginning in 2025, the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) will offer internships for its many labs and projects. Undergraduate and graduate students who wish to work in a field linked to their studies will have the option to do so through this internship.
How to apply for an internship
You must first choose a DRDO lab or establishment based on your interests and academic background if you want to participate in the DRDO Internship 2025. You can then apply through your institution or college. There will only be a certain number of internships available, and selection will be based on the candidate’s eligibility and the lab director’s approval.
Know who can apply
Students with undergraduate or doctoral degrees in engineering or general science are eligible for this internship. Candidates must be between the ages of 19 and 28 to apply.
Internship detailsÂ
According to DRDO’s official announcement, interns will only be permitted access to unclassified parts of the organization’s labs and facilities. In addition, it is mentioned that DRDO is not required to provide trainees employment upon training completion. Any personal injuries resulting from an accident will not be covered by DRDO. Depending on the lab director’s approval, the internship’s length can often vary from four weeks to six months.

Salary will be provided during the internshipÂ
Depending on their project and educational background, the chosen students will receive a monthly remuneration during the internship that ranges from Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000.
