Indian Oil Corporation Limited is accepting applications for apprentice positions as of 2025. IOCL Apprentice Eligibility: Eligibility Criteria
- Each subject requires a different level of education. Applicants must have a 12th grade diploma, two years of ITI, or three years of relevant trade experience. Before submitting an application, interested candidates are encouraged to read the official announcement.
- As of January 31, 2025, the candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 24.
- The relaxation period for PwBD candidates is 10 years (up to 13 years for OBC-NCL candidates and up to 15 years for SC/ST candidates).
IOCL Apprentice Selection Process: Selection Process
- Candidates who apply in accordance with the notification and are registered on the NAPS/NATS site will be taken into consideration for selection. There won’t be an interview or written test.
- The percentage of marks earned in the qualifications required for the position will be used to create the merit list of all applicants who meet the eligibility requirements and have applied for the relevant position.
- An offer of engagement for apprenticeship training will be given to candidates who pass the pre-engagement medical fitness and document verification tests and are deemed fit for engagement.
Apprenticeship Training
The duration of apprenticeship training is 12 months for all disciplines. On completion of the apprenticeship period, the Corporation shall not be bound to provide employment to such apprentices nor can any apprentice claim a right to employment on the basis of completion of apprenticeship.
Required Documents
During the application process, the candidate must provide a single, consolidated PDF document (no more than 5 MB in size) that contains the scanned copies of the following papers. In order to avoid having their candidature rejected, candidates must make sure that all of their documents are provided in the correct order for verification.
- Proof of date of birth in the form of a Class X, SSLC, or Matriculation certificate and mark sheet issued by the appropriate education body.
- The required educational qualifications are either a provisional certificate or degree or a mark sheet and certificate of ITI, engineering diploma, HSC, or graduation, as applicable.
- formula for converting CGPA to percentage that has been made public by their institution or institute.
- Caste certificate, if appropriate, in the central format specified.
- Certificate of Caste Validity (only applicable in Maharashtra State).
- PwBD certificate, if applicable, in the central format specified.
- Current EWS certificate in the central format specified, together with a PAN or Aadhar card if applicable.
- A recent passport-sized color photo.
- Blue ink signature.
