According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North)

Ravi Kumar Singh, preliminary inquiry revealed that the complainant had been taken advantage of by a persistent cyber ring that made false promises. The money trail left by the con artists was successfully followed by the authorities when they conducted their investigation and examined the Internet Protocol Detail Records (IPDR).

The police detained Raghav during the search

because he had three mobile phones that had been used in the crimes when he was detained. Another person, Aryan, was detained at Nalanda’s Devi Sarai as part of the investigation. Raghav was found to have run and joined a phoney SIM group on Telegram during questioning. He picked up different scamming methods from the group members, including the art of cheaply selling valuable technology from a man by the name of Klashnik.

the handle “gadget.world,” where he shared favourable comments and clips of buyers opening the gadgets. Even screenshots of happy customer conversations were produced to convey the appearance of outstanding service. Raghav additionally purchased phoney followers for the page via indiansmartpanel.com. There were numerous entries on the page claiming to be able to get an iPhone 14 Pro Max for 5,000 rupees. However, these are phoney phones. The Delhi Police’s swift action and investigation led to the arrest of these cybercriminals, providing relief to people who had fallen prey to their fraudulent schemes.
