Before the 5G rollout, Reliance Jio made some intriguing announcements for the Indian market. Jio said that Jio AirFiber, a new 5G FWA (fixed-wireless access) equipment, will be available and will offer subscribers great speed and service. Traditional broadband will be similar to AirFiber. How it would operate, though, was not explained. This product was on display by Reliance during the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022. In this case, the telecom gave no explanation of how it would operate. One can receive high speed across the entire house by using this equipment. It will function with Jio’s 5G network.
AirFiber change the game
Jio AirFiber will revolutionize the industry. It will now be interesting to observe how the business markets it. Kiran Thomas, the president of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), reportedly stated that this product will soon have its own location. In other words, AirFiber would be available in users’ homes by the end of 2023. Airfiber may be useful in utilizing 5G, and as a result, Reliance may be able to speed up the rollout of 5G.
There will be connectivity in the 1000 square feet.
The product’s retail prices have not yet been disclosed. They will be disclosed ahead of launch. With its JioFiber service, Reliance Jio has already established itself in millions of homes. JioFiber might pose a serious threat to Jio AirFiber if it launches. Jio AirFiber is a small device that can deliver Wi-Fi connectivity over a 1000-square-foot area.
