Kanker: The charge station reported that one of the three bears was crossing a residential neighborhood’s middle of the road. In the lake of unused land, bears are still present in the city and are hiding.
Chhattisgarh News: The terror of animals is growing in the district of Kanker. Currently, many bears and leopards are regularly spotted in Kanker City. Three bears were spotted wandering the Ampara district of Kanker City on Monday as well. One of the bears was sighted crossing a road in the middle of the city.
Although no one was harmed by these bears, there is a fearful attitude among the populace due to the bears’ abundance in the rural sections of the Kanker district as well as in the cities.
According to the story, a bear burst through the door of the Daspur ration store and distributed salt by licking the jaggery and sugar that were housed there. The owner of the ration shop had already voiced suspicion of theft. But the villagers claimed that a bear had damaged the shop’s door.
People lurking inside the houses,
The in-charge of Kanker Kotwali police station said that three bears were spotted on Monday morning roaming the streets of Ampara ward in Kanker city. Even though the bear didn’t hurt anyone. The fact that it was running around freely in the ward caused a commotion. And everyone ran for cover inside their own homes. One of these three bears was reportedly crossing a residential neighborhood’s middle road, according to the station’s in-charge. Despite this, the bear is still in the city and is still camped out in the barren lake.
Negligence of the Forest Department
The Forest Department does not appear to be taking any proactive measures to prevent the bears from entering the residential area. Even though the growing number of bears in the city is creating a concern for the locals.
The presence of bears in the city has become a normal occurrence. But because so many bears are now there, there is also a concern among the populace that one of the bears may attack and cause a serious accident. Despite this, neither the forest department nor the department’s ability to prevent the bears from visiting the residential settlement is paying any attention to this.
Although the forest department created a bear habitat area as part of the Janmwat project due to bear phobia. The bears are now coming towards the city’s residential sector and attacking people’s shops since there is not enough food for them. Speaking is how they consume their food rations.
