Kawasaki’s cheapest bike launched, customers feel like Diwali, Royal Enfield’s tension increases!

Kawasaki W175 Price and Features: Kawasaki has launched its cheapest motorcycle in India. It is a retro-styled motorcycle, which is named Kawasaki W175. The starting price of this bike has been kept at Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from being the cheapest Kawasaki bike, it is also the smallest bike of the company. The bike has been brought in two variants – Standard and Special Edition. The special edition is costlier by Rs 2000. That is, its price is Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Engine and Power
The Kawasaki W175 is powered by a 177 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected air-cooled engine. This engine generates maximum power of 13 PS and peak torque of 13.3 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup of the bike includes 30 mm telescopic front forks along with dual shock absorbers at the rear.

The retro-styled motorcycle gets spoke wheels, halogen headlamps, an analog instrument cluster, and a single-seat setup. Overall,   this bike can remind you of the old times. As color options, you get Ebony (Standard) and Candy Persimmon Red (Special Edition). The seat height of the bike is just 790mm and the weight is 135kg. That is, even short-length riders will be able to drive it easily.

The W175 is Kawasaki’s first made-in-India motorcycle. If we look at the price, then the Kawasaki W175 is going to compete with bikes like Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin. The deliveries of the bike will start in December 2022.
