Keeway SR 125 Launch: Keeway has launched a brand new SR 125 (Keeway SR 125) in the Indian market. It has been launched at a starting price of Rs 1.19 lakh ex-showroom. Booking for this has been started. One can book the motorcycle online from the company’s website or by visiting their nearest Kiway-Benelli dealership with a token amount of Rs 1,000. However, before booking it, let us tell you that there are already many bikes competing in the market. These include Bajaj Pulsar NS125, TVS Raider 125, and Honda SP125.
The test ride of the Keeway SR 125 will begin this week or next week. At the same time, its delivery will start by the end of this month. Notably, the SR 125 is Kiway’s seventh offering in India within five months. Positioned to be an entry-level motorcycle, the SR 125 sports retro design language and will be available in three color shades – Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Red.
The Keeway SR 125 is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, fuel-injected engine that produces 9.5 bhp at 9,000 RPM and 8.2 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It gets telescopic front forks and dual spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle gets disc brakes at both the front and rear along with a combined braking system.
