Kia is now preparing for the Carens Clavis EV’s Indian debut.
Kia is preparing to introduce its electrified version of the Carens Clavis, which it recently introduced in India. The Kia Carens Clavis EV is anticipated to go on sale on July 15, 2025, according to Acko Drive. However, the brand has not yet provided an official confirmation. Here are the specifics of Kia’s next electric MPV while we wait for the official debut date of the Kia Carens Clavis EV.
Powertrain Expected
The Hyundai Creta EV’s 42 kWh battery and 51.4 kWh battery pack, which are available as options, are probably what the Kia Carens Clavis will use. The anticipated range of these battery pack alternatives is 390 km and 473 km, respectively.
Exterior Expected
The majority of the external features and design cues from its ICE sister are probably going to be carried over into the Kia Carens Clavis EV. It is anticipated to have angular LED DRLs, a closed-off grille at the front, three-pod LED headlights housed in a triangular housing, and more. Additionally, it is anticipated that Kia would install freshly designed alloy wheels specifically for aerodynamics on the Carens Clavis EV.
Interior Expected
The interior amenities and design of the Kia Carens Clavis EV are probably going to be carried over from the ICE version, just as the appearance. As with the Seltos, the electrified MPV is anticipated to have a 22.62-inch dual-screen setup that includes an 8-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display.
Price Expected And Rivals
It is anticipated that the Kia Carens Clavis EV will cost between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). The Kia Carens Clavis EV will compete with the Hyundai Creta EV and the Tata Harrier EV when it launches.
