Features and Design

This year, the 1390 Super Duke R got a significant update that included better functionality and a new design. It now resembles other naked bike models from KTM, like the 990 Duke. The bike has redesigned winglets and fuel tank shrouds for improved aerodynamics, and the front has a vertically stacked LED headlamp with new DRLs. The cover for the subframe is smaller, which gives the bike a very compact and aggressive look. The 1390 Super Duke R and the 1290 Super Duke R seem to have identical frames. An upgraded mono-shock at the back and new, fully adjustable 48mm WP front forks have been added to the suspension. The 1390 Super Duke R EVO model has a semi-active suspension system with real-time damping control using magnetic valves.
