On the occasion of his birthday, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, unveiled the state’s ambitious Ladli Behna Yojana programme. Ladli Bahna Yojana applications are now being accepted. In accordance with this programme, Rs 1,000 would be deposited into the accounts of eligible sisters in the state every month on the tenth. Shivraj Singh claims that the government’s plan begins a social revolution. The sisters’ lives will drastically change once the plan is implemented. The Ladli Bahna Yojana has been allocated Rs 8,000 crore by the Madhya Pradesh government for the first year. Sisters can benefit from this programme without providing any income documentation.
