On the occasion of his birthday, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, unveiled the state’s ambitious Ladli Behna Yojana programme. The Ladli Bahna Yojana has been allocated Rs 8,000 crore by the Madhya Pradesh government for the first year. Sisters can benefit from this programme without providing any income documentation.
