After this incident, apart from the temple committee, the Indian High Commission lodged a strong objection against Canada and demanded action against it. Police say that information has been received about this. After receiving the complaint, the police started an investigation into this heinous crime. According to the York Regional Police, there is a Vishnu temple in the area of Yonge Street and Garden Avenue. It has a five-meter-high statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Somebody distorted this idol. After providing information at roughly 12.30 pm, police were summoned to the scene.
Hand of anti-social elements

Police will take strict action
