He received a call from an executive of BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited). He informed Arvind Kumar that he owed money for his energy. Electrical will be cut off if the payment is not made. According to the electricity agency. He sent the link when asked how to pay the charge.

Arvind downloaded the program, and the con artist promptly obtained his bank account information and transferred the money. He is accused of stealing close to Rs 4.9 lakh from the victim’s account.
