Maruti Suzuki has pressed the accelerator on electric cars, with the company’s initial electric car (EV) getting ready to launch in India in 2025, with six vehicles scheduled for 2030. We’re all aware that the initial launch is an EV which is a new product that was developed using an electric platform in conjunction with Toyota.

Maruti Suzuki, despite being far behind the EV party.

It is planning to launch an array of EVs in a variety of categories, but the first is likely to be a Creta similar to the size of. The eVX will kick off the electric revolution and measures 4.3m in length. The 60kWh battery pack results in a range of 500km. All Suzuki EVs are required to come with an engine in the front with brakes that are regenerative.

Worldwide, Suzuki will be offering about six EVs by 2030.

This includes the Jimny EV and the eVX, and electric versions of a few of its hatchbacks around the world. The brand-new electric eVX SUV will be manufactured in Gujarat as it has made significant investments in the development of electric vehicles and developing EV batteries. Another incentive towards EVs also includes the development of batteries, which could help bring down costs.

Another big EV release is an electric model of the Jimny.

This Jimny with its electric model is expected to be updated to become an electric SUV, rather than being a car that is built from the ground similar to the eVX. However, with an electric motor and a dual motor, the Jimny will be able to gain more power and be expected to have an engine with dual motors that has all-wheel drive.

The Jimny electric model would also include the four-wheel drive system.

Which is essential for off-roaders’ appeal. Electric versions of the Jimny will be based on the 3-door version that is available worldwide. However the Indian version would be clearly built on the five-door version that was designed specifically for India.
