Mohammed Siraj, a bowler for Royal Challengers Bangalore, reported a corrupt approach to the BCCI’s Anti Corruption Unit (ACU). When a stranger contacted him for “inside information” regarding the squad. After losing a significant amount of money in an IPL game, the guy sought the player for assistance. Interestingly, it has been determined that the individual wasn’t a bookmaker but rather a match-betting junkie who required assistance from a cricketer.

from an unidentified person who wanted “inside information” about his team. After “losing a lot of money” in an IPL game to BCCI’s Anti Corruption Unit (ACU).
“Siraj wasn’t approached by a bookie.
It is a motorist from Hyderabad with a gambling addiction. He sought Siraj for inside knowledge after suffering a significant financial loss. 
“Siraj instantly reported the approach.
The individual has been taken into custody by the police. More information is awaited, the source continued. Notably, the BCCI has increased its vigilance against such tactics in the wake of the major sport-fixing incident that tarnished the 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Each team has a dedicated ACU official who lives in the same hotel and oversees all operations while keeping a close eye on every activity.
Before the tournament, players must attend a required ACU session on the do’s and don’ts.
There are severe penalties in effect if any player fails to disclose such a dishonest strategy. Shakib Al Hasan, the captain of Bangladesh, was demoted in 2021 for failing to expose a fraudulent IPL strategy.
With eight wickets under his belt, Siraj is presently the RCB’s top wicket-taker. And will be aiming to increase that total.
