For admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defense Academy
the NDA exam will be administered beginning on April 16, 2023. The Union Public Service Commission offers the NDA exam twice a year. The NDA test has been issued with admit cards. Applicants should download their admission cards if they plan to take the exam.

NDA Exam Pattern for UPSC
Both the English and Hindi languages will be used for the selection exam for the NDA exam or NA 1 exam. Candidates will be tested on problems worth 300 points in maths and 600 points overall. The general ability test will also include 200 points for English and 400 points for general awareness. The candidates will have 2.5 hours to complete these papers. There will also be penalty points. Any incorrect response will result in a loss of points.
Salary
Cadets are paid a stipend of Rs 56,100 per month during their training according to Pay Matrix Level 10 of the 7th Pay Commission. After receiving a number of additional facilities and benefits, a lieutenant’s compensation is determined by level 10 upon appointment (Rs 56,100 – 1,77,500). Also, there is military service pay (Rs 15,500 per month) and a variety of allowances to choose from.
Advancement Rank
One is promoted to the rank of General in the Army after receiving a lieutenant’s commission. Likewise, promotion is possible after commissioning as a sub-lieutenant in the Navy up to the rank of Admiral, and after commissioning as a flying officer in the Air Force up to the rank of Air Chief Marshal.
The appointment takes place in this manner.
Cadets are granted permanent commissions in accordance with the army wing after completing their training at various military academies. In the Army, the rank of Lieutenant, in the Navy, Sub-Lieutenant, and in the Air Force, Flying Officer.
