The country’s women are the focus of numerous government initiatives. Now, Nirmala Sitharaman has provided details on this. Women entrepreneurs are given precedence under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. It offers financial help to beneficiaries, according to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s statement on Sunday.
As he handed out sanction letters to the recipients of the ‘PM Swanidhi Se Samridhi program. He said municipal officials have to identify the footpath vendors who are not eligible for the plan and assist them in receiving the benefits. The PM-Swanidhi initiative has an extra component called the Swanidhi to Samridhi program. This gives the program’s qualified recipients. And their families access to eight Central Government programs for their general growth and socioeconomic advancement.
The Aadhar Card will benefit the recipient
The Finance Minister recalled the Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity’s introduction. And stated that recipients can avoid “middlemen” by opening a bank account after receiving their Aadhaar card and receiving financial assistance directly to their account from the Centre. He then cited the well-known statement made by former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. According to this a beneficiary receiving Rs 100 from the Centre receives only Rs 15, with the remaining Rs 85 going to middlemen and others’.
Ladies will receive loans
In reference to the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Sitharaman stated that the program’s purpose was to empower women entrepreneurs by granting bank loans.
Women can launch their own companies
According to him, one of the scheme’s key features is enabling women to approach banks as potential entrepreneurs or small business owners. In addition, you can begin working by applying for a loan through the PM Mudra Yojana plan. Sixty of the one hundred beneficiaries of this program will be female.
Women will be prioritized
“Under the PM Mudra Yojana, women have been prioritized.” Launched on April 8, 2015, the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana offers loans to small and micro firms that are not related to corporations or agriculture, up to a maximum of Rs 10 lakh.
