Gadkari stated at a program “We had said that we would reduce the number of road accidents by 50% before the year 2024.” However, we were unable to accomplish so because of our own inadequacies and the lack of effort put forward by some others.road accidents

We are not making any progress toward accomplishing the goal.

He stated, “The people preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) are not doing their job properly,” underscoring the requirement for improvement in road building engineering. They believe that costs should be reduced. In order to lower the cost of construction, he claimed that road safety standards were compromised while the DPR was being created. Make no provision in any route for the construction of flyovers or underbridges. Despite the cost being reduced, the goal is not being reached.road accidents
