It will be simpler to travel

When there are currently no feeder buses, passengers will benefit. It will be simpler to travel to the inner residential regions because of the buses’ low lengths. 480 such buses would provide commuter service in Delhi from stops close to metro stations by the end of the year.

Preparations have already been made

To operate e-buses on 53 routes identified in the survey, preparations have already been made. Passengers will find it simpler to go the final mile if there are smaller buses available. These buses would also be able to go on roads with restricted width. The passengers will travel faster and spend less money as a result of this. In March, Feeder E buses will begin operating on these routes.

Also, 380 new buses will be added to the transport network, ensuring that commuters on metro feeder routes have access to buses on a regular basis. With this, there will be 480 more buses on feeder routes. By the end of the year, all feeder e-buses will be made accessible to passengers after the tender for the purchase of new buses is floated. At Rithala, Welcome, Nangloi, Mundka, Kohat Enclave, and Dwarka, bus depots are being built for these buses.
