An advisory board has been established to oversee the Minimum Income Guarantee Act, and it is chaired by the Chief Secretary. The advisory board will periodically review the program. The government will bear the burden of 2,500 crores

Additionally, the state government has stated that it will have an additional financial burden of up to Rs 2500 crores following the implementation of the minimum income guarantee scheme. Additionally, it will increase in addition to the annual expense.
