The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare’s (DoPPW) Secretary, V. Srinivas, provided information on this. Srinivas gave this information after inaugurating a two-day banker awareness programme.

Now the concrete arrangements are being made 
According to Srinivas, the administration is firmly committed to making sure that seniors do not experience any difficulties. Now the government is making elaborate arrangements. He said that for this, DoPPW is working on a pensioners portal with Artificial Intelligence.

This portal will be linked to Doppw Portal (www.doppw.gov.in) Bhavishya and Pension Portal of various banks. To facilitate effective contact between retirees, the government, and banks, it will offer the option of a chat bot.

Formation of Technical Team
According to a statement issued by the Personnel Ministry, a technical team is being formed in collaboration with Punjab National Bank (PNB) as well as other banks to create the above digital system.
