The oil marketing companies’ published pricing for petrol and diesel for May 31 has not changed. Nayara Energy, a private sector retailer, announced a price cut of Re 1 for fuel and diesel earlier today. People can currently purchase fuel and diesel from Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and BP PLC (BP PLC) for less money than they would from Indian Oil and Hindustan Petroleum.

Crude oil is now selling for about $70 per barrel

- Compared to Rs. 106.03 and Rs. 92.76 per litre in Kolkata.
- In Lucknow, gasoline costs Rs 96.57 and diesel Rs 89.76 per litre
- In Patna, gasoline costs Rs 107.24 and diesel Rs 94.04 per litre
- In Gurugram, gasoline costs Rs 97.18 and diesel Rs 90.05 per litre.
