The bank has doubled the maximum amount that can be withdrawn from an ATM. Customers could only withdraw 50,000 rupees from their debit cards previously, but that amount has been increased to 1 lakh rupees. This cap has been doubled by the bank.
The debit transaction limit increased
Customers of Punjab National Bank can withdraw up to Rs 1 lakh using Visa Gold Debit Cards, Platinum Mastercards, and RuPay Cards. Before this, cardholders could only withdraw up to Rs 50,000. The PNB has announced an increase in the debit card transaction cap.
Additionally, the POC limit has been raised.
In addition to this, the bank raised the Point of Sale limit. It now has a 3 lakh cap instead of 1.25 lakh. According to the bank, there is now a daily withdrawal limit of Rs 1,50,000 for both Visa Signature and Rupay Select cards.
According to a statement released by PNB, you can benefit from your higher transaction limit by visiting an Aadhaar branch, PNB ATM, mobile banking app, Internet Banking, or mobile banking website.
