The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is getting ready for the hiring of UP Police Constables. After the application form is made available on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Department, candidates who wish to apply for this position can register themselves by completing the application form. The UP Police Department initially made 26382 openings for the position of Constable (Male/Female) accessible to interested applicants; however, the number of openings has now increased to approximately 37000.
The date of the notification released for the UP Police Recruitment
has not received any significant updates yet. Although the exam date has not yet been set, the police department may shortly make an announcement. The exam will be administered using an OMR-based system.
On January 11, 2023, an update from the UP government’s “Mission Rozgar UP” stated
that 37,000 constable and fireman positions would be filled by the UP Police. In addition, those who have completed their intermediate (12th) exams from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the UP Police Constable Recruitment.
The recruitment of UP Police Fireman will also require
other criteria in addition to a 12th-grade education. Male candidates for the general category should be between the ages of 18 and 27. Women are still only allowed to be between the ages of 18 and 25. Males in the OBC group must be between the ages of 18 and 28 and females must be between the ages of 18 and 31. Candidates from the General and OBC categories must pay an application fee of Rs 400 for this. Candidates from the SC and ST categories won’t need to pay an application fee, nevertheless.
