The Indian Railways’ (IRB) updated recruitment details for the position of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) have been released. On February 19, the recruiting registration period opened under notification CEN number 01/2024. “Candidates are advised to edit their selected RRB options and Zonal Railway preference within the selected RRB if required,” reads the recruitment notice in the corrigendum that was just released about the earlier notification. Soon, the link for adjustment will be active for ten days only on each RRB’s official website.”

Essential qualifications

To be considered for the RRB ALP Recruitment 2024, aspirants must hold an ITI or diploma in the relevant discipline. When it comes to the candidate age limit, a candidate must be at least eighteen years old. At the same time, the maximum age limit has been kept at 30 years. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2024. Reserve category candidates are eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit.

Recruitment of RB ALP 2024

The Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and the Stages 1 and 2 Computer Based Tests (CBT) are part of the selection process. Those that are selected will next need to go through a medical examination and document verification. Candidates will be assigned to the open positions following the conclusion of each phase.
