. There are positions available for assistant teachers in upper primary schools, according to the Office of the Director of Elementary Education in Assam. Recruitment for these positions is accepted from graduates of any accredited university. The applicant also has to have completed two years of coursework toward a diploma in elementary education (DEl.Ed. ), a BEd., a DEd. (Special Education), or a BEd. (Special Education). All of these require candidates to have passed the Assam TET or CTET.

Additionally, Assam’s education department has posted job openings for science instructors in upper elementary schools. The candidate for these positions must have earned a B.Sc. from any accredited university. He must also have completed a two-year education diploma program, earning a D.El.Ed., B.Ed., D.Ed. (Special Education), or B.Ed. (Special Education). Other than that, the candidate must have qualified TET in Science and Maths.

The monthly wage range for candidates selected for the positions of Senior Graduate Teacher and Assistant Teacher is Rs 70,000 to Rs 14,000.
