Let us first inform you that the Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET-01/2024) announcement has been released by the Indian Navy. The statement states that candidates have until August 2, 2024, to submit an online application for this position.

Details of the Vacancy

With INCET-2024, candidates will be appointed to a total of 741 posts in the Navy. In this, 1 post of Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop), 10 posts of Chargeman (Factory), 18 posts of Chargeman (Mechanic), and 4 posts of Scientific Assistant will be filled. At the same time, there will be recruitment for 2 posts of Draftsman (Construction), 58 posts of Fire Engine Driver, 18 posts of Pest Control Worker, 9 posts of Cook, and 16 posts of MTS. The maximum vacancies are for two posts, which include 444 posts of Fireman, and 161 posts of Tradesman Mate.

Requires a certain level of education

  • Candidates with a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics, or a Diploma in Chemical Engineering, are eligible to apply for the Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop) positions.
  • For the position of Chargeman (Mechanic), candidates with a diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Production Engineering may apply.
  • The prerequisite for applying to be a Scientific Assistant is a B.Sc. in Oceanography, Physics, Chemistry, or Electronics.
  • In addition to having completed an ITI in the relevant trade, passing the 10th grade is a requirement for the position of Draughtsman (Construction).
  • Youth with a 12th-grade diploma are eligible to apply for firemen positions. In addition, candidates must have completed an auxiliary, basic, or elementary firefighting course.
  • Fire Engine Driver: Heavy Motor Vehicle License, 12th Pass.
  • Candidates with a 10th-grade education and an ITI can apply for the Tradesman Mate position.
  • For each of these positions as a Cook, MTS, or Pest Control Worker, the applicant must be 10th passed.
