Recruitment notice was issued for the post of SI in Uttarakhand Police, know details

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has posted Recruitment for 222 positions, one of which is for a sub-inspector in the Home Department. The Commission will fill the positions of Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander, and Fire Station Second Officer through this hiring procedure. Candidates who are interested in applying for these positions may do so online starting on January 31 by going to the Commission’s official website. The application deadline has been set for February 20, 2024.

Secretary of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, announced that written and physical exams will be held to fill these positions. Thirteen testing centers throughout the state will host the exams. The Commission’s official website now provides the comprehensive announcement of this recruitment exam, candidates can check important details of the recruitment process through the notification. Public Service Commission of Uttarakhand Candidates will be chosen through this recruiting procedure for 108 Sub Inspector positions, 89 Platoon Commander positions, and 25 Fire Station Second Officer (female and male) positions.

Recruitment for UKPSC SI in 2024

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited university to be considered for the positions of platoon commander and sub inspector. The applicant for the position of a second officer at a fire station must have graduated with a science stream. In addition, the candidate needs to have completed a six-month computer course. Candidates applying for any of these positions must be between the ages of 18 and 28. However, candidates in the reserved category will have their age restricted by state government regulations.

Written and practical exams will be used to choose candidates for these positions. The physical exam will be administered by the Commission initially. Only those candidates who pass it will be eligible to take the written exam. Only the scores received in the written exam will be used to create the merit list. At the same time, people with two NCC “B” and “C” certificates will be given preference.
