A recruitment announcement for constable positions has been made by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB). Those who meet the requirements can apply by going to the official website, jkssb.nic.in. The recruiting effort aims to fill 4,002 positions in total. The registration period will open on July 30 and end on August 29, which is the deadline. About a week before the exam, admit cards will be sent out.

Domicile Applicants must be citizens of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and possess a current domicile certificate from the appropriate government to be considered for the open positions. Multiple-choice questions of an objective nature will make up the written test. Only English will be used in the paper. For incorrect answers, one-fourth of the total marks for each question will be subtracted. There is a 700 rupee application fee. Candidates from the SC, ST-1, ST-2, and EWS categories must pay a fee of Rs 600. The cost can be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. Applications submitted without the required fee will be rejected and not be reviewed.
In any correspondence with the board,
candidates are required to include their name, date of birth, email address, mobile number, and the name of the test. Forms submitted without this information won’t be taken into account. To the exam room, candidates must carry a printout of their admit card, roll number card, and slip. In addition, individuals need to bring a valid original picture ID proof letter and at least two passport-sized color photos that are no older than six months.

Document validation
Those who have been shortlisted for document verification must show up with self-attested photocopies of all relevant paperwork, including online application forms, certificates, and original papers, as stated in the announcement. Candidates must, by the deadline for online application submission, have the necessary educational background and submit supporting documentation, such as a birth certificate, residency certificate, category certificate, etc.
