The government is constantly taking action to reduce inflation. The government recently levied an export tax on onions; today, a significant reduction in petrol cylinder prices has been announced. Following the government’s decision, all domestic consumers will now receive cylinders at a 200 rupee discount. The cost of a petrol cylinder in the nation’s capital, Delhi, was formerly Rs 1103, but it is now Rs 903. In addition, the government would provide 75 lakh new LPG connections gratis through the Ujjwala program.
903 rupees cylinder
Who will profit from 400 rupees?
The Ujjwala scheme’s beneficiaries would receive a total benefit of 400 rupees once the government reduces the cylinder price by 200 rupees. They already received a $200 stipend from the government. Because of this, he paid Rs 903 for the cylinder. However, they will now receive a 200 rupee discount. That is, the cylinder will now cost Rs. 703, and the Ujjwala beneficiaries will receive it. According to Thakur, the goal of this effort is to help the families.
The number of Ujjwala connections will reach 75 lakh families,
bringing the total number of new beneficiaries to 10.35 crore. If elected, the Madhya Pradesh government has pledged to offer LPG for Rs. 500. In Rajasthan, Congress offers LPG at the same cost. In both states, elections will take place in November and December. Thakur, though, steadfastly refused to connect this choice to the elections. According to him, the Modi administration is giving this to ladies as a present for Onam and Raksha Bandhan.
