Tomorrow 19th of April is the Chaturthi date of Vaishakh month. The fast of Sankashti Shri Ganesh Chaturthi will be kept on this day. It is very important to keep some things in mind while fasting and worshiping Sankashti Chaturthi. Also, worship of Sankashti Chaturthi should be done at an auspicious time and the moon should be offered Ardhya. Without this worship is considered incomplete.

Sankashti Chaturthi Puja Muhurta April 2022 Puja Muhurta
Chaturthi Tithi will start from 04:38 PM on Tuesday, 19th April, and will continue till 01:52 PM on 20th April. Since it is necessary to offer Arghya to the moon during the fasting of Chaturthi, therefore Chaturthi is considered on the same day as the night time comes. This time moonrise time on Sankashti Chaturthi is 09:50 pm.
Although animals and birds should never be disturbed, doing so on the day of Sankashti Chaturthi can be very heavy. Rather try to give food and water to the animals and birds on this day.
Do not insult elders and brahmins on the day of Sankashti Chaturthi, otherwise, Ganesh Ji will get angry.
Keep your conduct good on the day of Sankashti Chaturthi. Don’t lie to anyone, don’t cheat.
Do not consume meat and alcohol on the day of Sankashti Chaturthi. On this day also do not use garlic onion in-home food. Eat only sattvik food on this day.
