Now, it appears that the Food and Supplies Department is strict in this regard. The department has recently issued a new order in this regard. Depot won’t be able to operate from home.
Let us inform you that a government order states that no depot operator shall operate a depot inside of his residence. He will manage the depot in the shop itself, regardless of how close his house is. Only by designating them as nominees may family members be given the authority to use the POS.

Where the product can be obtained
Operators of ration depots must submit an application form to the department along with their account number and a copy of their Aadhaar card. Additionally, only at the designated location must the rations be distributed by the depot operators. The departmental orders specified that the ration would be given to consumers at the designated location where the depot had been assigned.
