Need an affidavit first
If a woman wants to add her husband’s surname in her Aadhar card after marriage, then she will have to file an affidavit in court. In this, she has to tell why she is getting it done and after that, you can do it as soon as you get the approval.

Here is the process:-
Step 1
If you want to update the surname on your Aadhar card, then for this you must have a court-approved affidavit. This is the most important document to update the surname. So keep it with you.
Phase 2
After this, you have to keep your Aadhar card with you. Along with this, you will need your husband’s Aadhar number and you will also have to attach your residence proof.
Step 3
After this attach all these documents with the affidavit. Now you have to go to your nearest Aadhar center and there you have to tell the officer that you have to get the surname updated on the Aadhar card.
Step 4
Now you give all your documents to the officer and then you have to pay the prescribed fee. After taking your required information, your husband’s surname is updated on the Aadhar card, and the updated Aadhar card is sent to your address.
