On June 3, 2025, Tata Motors will introduce the Tata Harrier EV, a new electric SUV, in India. In January 2025, the business debuted it at the Auto Expo. The corporation was constantly releasing its teasers after displaying it at the Auto Expo. The launch date has now been revealed by the company. Tell us what will be unique about the Tata Harrier EV and how it will be designed.
What will be the exterior design?
The diesel Harrier facelift and the Harrier EV share a lot of similarities in appearance. It features a full-light bar connecting its front DRLs and vertical LED headlights. Regarding its side profile, its dark D pillars, rising window line, and raised wheel arches all contribute to the appearance of a floating roof. It features vertical fog lamps in the bumper and a connecting light bar at the back.
In March 2025, a teaser for the Harrier EV was made public, showing that the interior of the vehicle was quite similar to that of the diesel version. It features a digital instrument cluster, a four-spoke steering wheel, a floating touchscreen, touch-based AC control, and a two-tone dashboard. You will also notice new terrain modes, linked car features, a panoramic sunroof, an electronic parking brake, a rotary dial in the center console, and over-the-air upgrades.
Battery Pack and Performance
- The Omega platform, which has been extensively altered for the EV, serves as the foundation for the Harrier EV. A new electric system has been installed, and the floor has been renovated to accommodate the batteries. It is referred to by Tata as the Acti.ev (Gen 2) platform.
- It will have two motors that will supply power to all of the wheels from the batteries and produce torque of up to 500 Nm, resulting in an extremely powerful performance. Like the Curvv EV, the Tata Harrier EV will have a 55kWh battery pack that can go 500 kilometers between charges.
What will be the price?
The price range for the Tata Harrier EV’s Indian introduction is between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 30 lakh. When the Harrier EV is introduced on June 3, it will be apparent what its true cost and functionality will be.
