The Honda NX500 Adventure Tourer has been released. The ex-showroom price of Rs 5.90 lakh has been maintained. It will be imported and made accessible here via the CBU route. The NX500 will be sold via Honda’s Bigwing stores across the nation, just like all of the company’s large bikes. Next month, the NX500 will begin to be delivered. It is a part of the Bigwing portfolio, among other flagship ADVs like the Transalp 750 and Africa Twin.
The NX500 boasts
a new 5-inch digital TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in navigation system, a backlit four-way toggle switch, and new LED headlights. iOS and Android smartphone communication is provided by Honda RoadSync to the 5-inch TFT instruments. The rider can customize the screen to set the display style, such as per his choice. The bike also has an emergency stop signal and a switchable traction control system.
The 471cc liquid-cooled,
parallel-twin engine that drove the previous Honda CB500X is also used in the NX500. But a new ECU has been added, and Honda says that this makes the vehicle smoother. At 8,600 rpm, the engine produces 47 horsepower, and at 6,500 rpm, 43 Nm. A six-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch is attached to it.
Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing
at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, commented on the NX500’s launch, saying, “We are thrilled to introduce the all-new NX500 in the Indian market within three months of its global debut at EICMA 2023.” We have little doubt that the NX500 will thrill Indian ADV consumers.
