In April 2023, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx made its debut. For the nation’s Indo-Japanese automaker, it is producing good volumes. This small crossover has exceeded the one lakh sales mark. According to Maruti Suzuki, Fronx has been instrumental in helping the company double its market share in the SUV class, which went from 10.4 percent in 2022 to 19.7 percent in 2023.
The Maruti Fronx Turbo Velocity
version is a limited version of the compact crossover that the business has launched to boost sales. In comparison to the base model, it has several aesthetic improvements. There are Delta Plus, Zeta, and Alpha versions of this edition available. There will be 16 extra accessories worth Rs. included with the Front Turbo Velocity Edition. Grey and black styling kit, headlamp garnish, ORVM cover, door visor, lighted door sill guards, body side molding, wheel arch garnish, and spoiler extension are some of the exterior features. Simultaneously, the cabin receives an interior styling kit that includes a carbon finish, a 3D boot mat, a Nexcross Bordeaux finish sleeve seat cover, and a red dash design mat.
A 1.0L K-series Boosterjet turbo petrol engine,
mated to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, powers the Maruti Suzuki Swift Turbo Velocity Edition. A peak torque of 147.6 Nm and a maximum power of 100.06 PS is produced by the Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine. In addition, there is a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine and a CNG fuel option for the little crossover. With the factory-installed CNG kit, this engine produces 77.5PS and 98.5Nm, whereas the NA petrol unit produces 89.73PS and 113Nm.
