The new Mercedes G-Class AMG Line and Adventure Edition have been introduced by German automaker Mercedes-Benz in India. Both products are being offered for the same ex-showroom price of Rs 2.55 crore. As we mentioned, the G-Class has been in production for more than 40 years and is currently regarded as the best luxury off-road vehicle.
For Rs. 1.5 lakhs, both of the new SUVs
the G 400d AMG Line and the G 400d Adventure Edition—can be reserved. The automaker will begin shipping vehicles in the last quarter of this year. In terms of reservations, preference will be given to current Mercedes-Benz owners.
Mercedes G-Class – With the aid of an automated gearbox
the six-cylinder diesel engine in both G 400d models produces 326 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Both vehicles have a 6.4-second 0 to 100 kmph acceleration time. It can reach 210 kmph.
According to Mercedes
the diesel engine (OM656) is the most potent diesel engine in Mercedes-Benz history. A variety of extras are added to the Mercedes G-Class Adventure Edition, including a roof rack, a ladder that can be removed, a spare wheel holder, 18-inch alloy wheels, a full-size spare wheel, and leather interiors.
There are a total of 25 colour options available for the G-Class Adventure Edition
of which 4 are unique colour variants. In contrast, the AMG line is a sportier iteration, as the name suggests. It comes with a widescreen cockpit, ambient lighting with 64 colours, a sliding sunroof, 20-inch alloy wheels, and Burmester surround sound.
