Recently Hyundai Exter, a small SUV unveiled that would fight with Tata Punch in the market. It has various industry-first features and a starting price of Rs 6 lakh. 1. Sunroof
These days, sunroofs are in high demand, and the Hyundai Exter has one. The SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect trim levels of the SUV comes standard with a single-pane sunroof.
2. Dual Dashcam System
In Xeter, the segment’s first dual dashcam system was presented. Only the top-of-the-line SX (O) Connect model is offered. Full HD video can be captured using it.
3. Mobile phone charging wirelessly
Another market-first feature for a tiny SUV is wireless phone charging, which is available on the Xeter. It comes in high-end SX (O) and SX (O) Connect models.
4. Paddle Shifters
In the Exter, Hyundai has added paddle shifters to the AMT gearbox, a first for the sector. Only the SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect AMT models are compatible with it.
5. 6 Airbags
Tata Punch comes equipped with dual front airbags, while Hyundai Xtor comes standard with six airbags, increasing its level of safety. However, the Punch is also a secure vehicle, as evidenced by its 5-star Global NCAP certification.
6. A larger touchscreen
The Hyundai Xtor receives a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system comparable to the Grand i10 Nios, whereas the Tata Punch receives a smaller 7-inch touchscreen system.
